A key objective of the Msheireb project is to re-energise the core of the city. It revives the Qatari architectural language and embraces modern innovative technologies and thinking, to embody the true heritage of Qatar.

The smart and sustainable city district aims to create a hub of activity, where people return once again to live, work, shop and spend time with family and friends. It also endeavours to be one of the main tourist and cultural attractions in the country due to its unique and distinctive facilities.
