Anima Gallery launches the art exhibition “Eruption” at Msheireb Downtown Doha

Doha, Qatar, 11 May 2023: Anima Gallery, in collaboration with Msheireb Properties, launched the art exhibition “Eruption” featuring unique creations and works of global artists in the attendance of the creative community, guests and representatives of media.

The inspiring art exhibition “Eruption” relies on the power of art to create a space for dialogue and reflection on the themes of change, upheaval, and transformation that define our time. It draws on the blurred line between fact and fiction, to explore the many forces that shape our lives.

Featuring a diverse array of artists from around the world, including emerging talents and established masters, the exhibition showcases a wide range of artistic disciplines, from sculpture and painting to digital and sculptural installation. Each artist brings a unique vision and perspective to the concept of eruption, creating a rich and varied tapestry of interpretations that speak to the complexity of our world.

The exhibition is part of the art and cultural fairs hosted by Msheireb Downtown Doha, in collaboration with prominent national and global organizations, to enhance the creative movement in Qatar. Such events give visitors and the public a unique opportunity to cope with the latest trends in the classic and contemporary arts.

The participating artists, listed in alphabetical order, are Amal Al Aathem, Anachar Basbous , Anastasia Nysten, Clara Carvajal, Houmam Al Sayyed, Jean Boghossian, Jumanah Abbas, Mahmoud Obaidi, Maryam Al Homaid, Morrison Pierce, Nadim Karam, Nicolas Panayotou, Nourbanu Hijazi, Peter Zimmermann, Said Baalbaki, Tamara Haddad, Yasmina Nysten, and Zheng Lu.

“Eruption” exhibition takes place in a special gallery at Sikkat Alwadi (next to MGalllery Hotel) in Msheireb Downtown Doha from 10 May to 10 June 2023.
