Officially inaugurated in January 2024 by His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, the National Archives of Qatar has become a distinguished national archival institution that welcomes researchers, visitors from the community and history enthusiasts alike, while reinforcing national identity and promoting appreciation of Qatar’s documentary heritage.
