The museum houses are all wheelchair accessible; and you can find wheelchairs available in all the houses.

Msheireb Museums’ Gift Shop, Sogha from Msheireb, can be found in the Company House Orientation Space and can visited during the Museum opening hours.
I think I lost or forgot something at the Museum. What can I do?
You can check and report on your item at our Lost & Found at any of the museum reception areas.
Can I take pictures in the Museums?
Yes, you can take pictures at our museums for your own personal use.
Where can I Park at the museums?
Parking is available in the designated Jumaa Mosque Parking Space.
Pre Visit Teacher Guidelines
We as Msheireb Museum Education Department welcome you to our museums and highly encourage school teachers to read this set of guidelines before planning their school visit. In order for us to deliver an amazing, engaging and interactive tour, we highly encourage teachers to cooperate with us in maintaining discipline.
What are the Msheireb Museums’ visiting hours for school tours?
Msheireb Museums’ are open 9:00 am -12:00 pm, Monday to Thursday for school visits, Msheireb Museums closed on Sundays and during official holidays and some special occasions at the Museums.
How do I book my school visit to Msheireb Museums’?
Booking in advance is mandatory. For more information about bookings and our school programs the Museums’ Education team can be contacted at: email@example.com or (+974 4006 5586 English, +974 40065575 Arabic).
What is the recommended size of school groups visiting the Msheireb Museums’?
We accommodate large groups, though we may ask that large groups be divided in to smaller groups (minimum 10, maximum 30) to easily move around the galleries.
How many school teachers should accompany school groups?
If you are bringing groups of students under the age of 10 we ask for a minimum of 2 adults to 10 students. For younger children we suggest a ratio of 1 to 6. School teachers are responsible for their students at all times.
Is there an admission fee for visiting school groups?
We do not charge for school visits or guided tours.
What to Expect on the Day of your Visit?
Is on-site parking for school vehicles available?
The school bus will be allowed to drop off students and park in the main museum street. Accompanying parents with personal vehicles should use the Shiouk Mosque Car Park near the Amiri Diwan
(please refer to the map attached).
What to expect after arriving at Msheireb Museums’ with your students?
Our Education staff member will greet you at the drop off point. Please do not arrive any earlier than 10 minutes before your booking.
Are there available lockers for us to store our personal belongings?
Museum staff member will be available to assist you on-site. We have limited lockers and space in the Education Learning Centers’, for visiting school groups to use for storing their belongings.
Where can the visiting school children eat their lunch?
Each house has an open courtyard space that can be utilized by school groups to enjoy their personal lunch at the end of their guided tour. Eating and drinking inside the galleries is not allowed.
Can visiting school groups draw inside the museum galleries?
Schools groups are highly encouraged to use our educational facilities equipped with art supplies.
How can the teachers support us in making school tours more successful?
We have a few recommendations that we expect all teachers to read before their school visit, to ensure the students’ have a safe and enjoyable tour.
1) Please follow museum staff instructions
2) Switch your personal cellular devices to silent
3) Do not touch objects on display unless otherwise instructed
4) Lower your voices inside the galleries to respect other visitors
5) Wear comfortable clothing and shoes as there is a significant amount of physical activity involved
